The Beginning Has Been...

It is April 4th...I should be on my third day of intense writing...but, I confess that I have not really started. Right off the bat I have a question: How does a writer balance the load of two different projects  that need work at the same time? Is it advised or not to have two different projects being worked on simultaneously? While I am still finishing up a semester I have a script writing deadline for April 13th. I was aware of that when I committed to writing my novel for a 90 day straight challenge.
So the reason I am falling behind on both, is that I am conflicted on when I should work on one then switch to the other. Another fear is that right before I switch to one, I will be on a role and then when I come back to it, all of those ideas and such will have fallen into the deep chasm of forgotten ideas. How do I find the inbetween? How do I make this work? I need ideas, I need suggestions. What can you give me?

  1. I use whiteboards. No joke. Last semester I had two big papers due the same day and an ongoing story that decided to re-occupy my brain. I had a seperate white board for each thing just to keep myself sane and it worked really well for mapping.

    ...also, hi. :)
